Dr. Kerry Rafuse is a dedicated veterinarian with 24 years of experience, proudly serving the Fort Lauderdale community throughout her entire career. A native Floridian, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida before returning home to provide compassionate care to animals and trusted guidance to their families.

As the owner of Sandy Paws Animal Hospital, Dr. Kerry is committed to creating a welcoming environment where pets receive exceptional care and families feel supported. She shares her life with her husband, two daughters, two playful Boxers (Clover and Bruno), and two charismatic pigs (Lincoln and Patricia).

Her long-standing commitment to veterinary medicine, along with her deep love for both her family and her pets, continues to make her a trusted partner in the health and well-being of the pets of South Florida.
